Matthew Thatcher is a qualified medical practitioner with extensive experience in the Regulation of Medicines both nationally in the UK and also in the EU. Experience includes:

• 5 years as a Delegate/Alternate Delegate to EU Paediatric Committee (PDCO)
• 20 years as Clinical Assessor at MHRA/MCA with experience in the assessment of:
  • Paediatric Regulatory issues in relation to the EU Paediatric Regulation
  • New marketing authorisation applications and variations for both Chemical and Biological products
  • Pharmacovigilance issues
• Former Alternate Delegate to CHMP
• Previous experience as a Regulatory Consultant
